This is easy. This is a no-brainer. Sports Illustrated is asking readers to vote of its 2015 Sportsman of the Year, and while the magazine editors will make the choice after narrowing the list to 12 candidates, only one deserves the award.
No man or woman (and you’ll see why the mention of homo sapiens is important in a minute) had a bigger performance on a bigger stage than the former Rutgers star and Delran native. She not only led the U.S. Women’s National Team to its first World Cup since 1999, but she scored a hat trick in the championship game.
